Hi ,

I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 / apache 1.3.33/ php 5 / mysql on Mac os X tiger.
I had everything installed and working properly when with no apparent reason I cannot start my mysql server from the terminal.

I used to enter sudo ./bin/mysqld_safe then I was asked for my password and that was it.
Now I have the message "sudo: must be setuid root".

I looked on several forum and it was suggested to check /private/etc/sudoers with visudo and that is what I got
"visudo: /private/etc/sudoers: Permission denied"

I checked my usr/bin folder to see whatt was the property of the Sudo file: here is waht I have -rwxr-xr--

then I tried chmod as suggested. did not work. I typed "chmod ug+rwx sudo"
and got "chmod: sudo: Operation not permitted"

Any help will be welcome !
Thanks
