I’m new to linux & exim. I run a linux server with email service. I using f-prot email scanner. My email scanner using high CPU usage…(99.9%). How to reduce the usage of CPU…! If CPU usage high, what are the problems I’ll face..! Currently I checked there are 32 mails in the mail server..! I used (exim –bpc) to find the status. How to clear the email and send to the user?
I tried to restart the mail scanner services but the CPU usages are same.
Kindly assist me ..!

Your help is greatly appreciated ....!

i suspect it's a bug, and you need a later version... do you know if you have the latest version for your operating system and CPU arch?

If you do have the latest version, you might like to try here: http://www.f-prot.com/support/

i don't know anything about f-prot i'm afraid... sorry dude!
