how can i set my env so when I execute a.out, i don't have to type wholepath
like, i have to execute a.out by typing "home/usr/a.out"
because if i put a.out by itself, it says "bash command not found"

thanx!!!

you need to add the directory of the executable file into your $PATH variable.

Either type this every time you open a new terminal and every time you log on:
CODE
export PATH=$PATH:/home/usr

or add it into your "~/.bashrc" file.
