Hello to all GURU's,

I'm Edwin, I'm very new to networking career, I have a database server running with Linux OS while the rest are running windows platform. My question is, how can i connect to my server from windows OS. Is there any configuration needed to get a connection from windows to Linux database server? Pls. help me resolve this problem and please give me step-by-step instruction easy to understand because I am not yet an end user.

Thank you and I will appreciate all your suggestions.

Edwin

i have renamed your post to lower-case letters... please do not post in ALL CAPS, as it is difficult to read, and only serves to annoy the people reading the forum.

Thanks,
Hobbs.
