Hi all
i need a remote desktop app or just a package that do remote desktop to unix os. the app need to work with x-terminal (i.e. only client without server) + it should be open source preferable not under GNU licensing. tnx |

um... just use SSH with X-Forwarding enabled.
Or, if you are on the same network, export the DISPLAY variable to the machine on which you want to load the display, and the display number (such as "hostname:0") and type the command. I'm not sure on the licensing issues of XFree86, but i'm pretty sure it does come under the GNU Public License (GPL). Why is this an issue for you? Everything released under the GPL is open source anyway... |
