I have currently been given an Intel DX2-66 to try and repair. Installed is a version of SCO Open Desktop Version 3 that is unable to boot. I have a set of boot disks that do not work - I get error messages stating 'unable to create ramdisk'.
All I need to do is to get some files off of the Hard Drive. Is there an 'easy' process of doing this - Can I slave the SCO disk drive in some sort of emulated system? Also can I get a working copy of the SCO floppy disks (prefereably some sort of image file that I can use with rawrite? The ones I have do not work). I have the licenses for the O/S. SCO state that 'they do not support this o/s anymore - try EBay for a copy!' |
