I have a RedHat 8.0 system on which I'm running: - httpd-2.0.40-11.9 - php-4.2.2-8.0.8 - php-mysql-4.2.2-8.0.8 I need to upgrade this out of the dark ages to at least php 4.3.0 (to support software software I wish to use). I cannot download any new RPMs from the RedHat Network, and I while I can get loads of newer ones from rpmfind.net, I think the best one for me would be the Fedora Core 1 versions, correct? These files are called: - php-4.3.3-6.i386.rpm - php-mysql-4.3.3-6.i386.rpm First of all, are these suitable for a RedHat 8.0 system running that version of apache? Secondly, how can I solve this problem:
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help :-) |
