I have been trying to configure 2 seperate web pages on my Linux machine using Apache. From what I have read on the web, it would seem that this is an easy task if I use virtual hosts. I think I understand how to build the virtual hosts in my .conf file but I have a question.

In all the examples I have seen on the web, the virtual hosts differ like so:

www.host-A.com

www.host-B.com

I wish to use the same domain, with different prefixes like this:

web-1.domain.com

web-2.domain.com

Has anyone ever set Apache up to work like this before? and if so, how did you get it to work?

Thanks!!
