Firewall Software, What's the best for Solaris??

Administrator Group: Admin Posts: 679 Member No.: 1 Joined: 13-February 03	What's the best firewall software for Solaris? Is SunScreen any good? Is there a version of ipchains for Solaris? Are there any better ones?

User Level: 2 Group: Members Posts: 28 Member No.: 47 Joined: 13-June 03	I my MHO, i've used a few different firewalls on solaris, but the most efficient free one is Berkeley Packet filters (as used in OpenBSD) pf. It's simple syntax which is readable english takes some beating to ipfw and iptables and also includes stateful packet inspection... The also-rans are Firewall 1 and EFS (the fore runner to SPF 200 aka SunScreen) on solaris.
