Hi,
I have GUI running on a unix machine. I need to bring this GUI up on one of my users PC. However, everytime I do it I get error "CANNOT OPEN DISPLAY". The user has fixed IP address and I assign the DISPLAY to the IP address as such -- 192.31.32.234:0.0 but I still get a error. I bought up the session to unix through a freeware called Putty. I don't know if I need something else or what I am doing wrong. I can use any freeware to solve this issue. Please help. Thank you all for you time. |

you need an X Server for Windows, such as X-Manager or Exceed. Neither are free, but trials exist and i'm sure free equivalent exist too.
Don't forget to export your display as well!! |
