I'm also a Sun geek (ex, unfortunately). I like to practise the ancient art of geekery.
Currently setting up everything on my Ultra 10, and have managed to install XEmacs, MySQL and Mozilla today, which is good given that I didn't know how to install from binaries before :) Oh yeah, and I love Java. |

you love java... hmm... that's definitely a good thing!! :D i'll remember that :D
how come ur an ex-sun geek then?? what happened? also... did you install the binaries by chmod'ing and running them? ...or by running 'pkgadd' on them?? oh, and why's this topic called "cannot see the screen"?? lol :P |

My internship finished. You know this Hobbs, we met many a time in front of the toast making machine.
both methods for binaries, and also by using 'make' too :) I couldn't see the screen yesterday because I'd spent too long reading a small yellow-on-black screen :) |
