I have an Ultra 1 on a predominantly Windoze network, which is all using DHCP. My Ultra is also configured to use DHCP, but the problem with this is that it doesn't get it's hostname from the DHCP server.

I therefore want to specify the hostname locally, but let it gets it's IP from the DHCP server...

how can i do this??

i can't remember to tell the truth... i've moved house twice since then! lol, that's uni for ya.

I have a feeling i just gave up with DHCP in the end, cos i like to know the IPs of my machines.
