possibly, but neither of these are UNIX/Linux-related, specifically... they are both apparently platform independant... maybe a generic "Programming/Languages" forum?? how does that sound?

I think Programming/Languages forum is an excellent idea. I'd like to ask some Java questions there too. :)

i took a look around and sure enough, a lot of unix/linux forums have a programming forum! i have therefore created one :D
