At first I took alook and though it looked rather crap, but after taking alook at a few sites I must say as far as the Win32 version is concerned I'm far more impressed with it than plain "Mozilla". While it still seems to be inconsistant when rendering pages and doesn't seem to like the <hr /> tag and still IMO has ugly buttons for forms and ugly input areas if the default isn't overidden with CSS. And while just a small thing, backspace will take you back a page, a real bonus for me!
One thing I have noticed in Firebird, Plain Mozilla and Konqouror is the details on the cookies it gives you, being a web programmer this is very helpfull when on a development site so I can see when and what cookies are being set by my code. I certaily like being able to have tabs at the top instead of 5 or six windows open at a time, thats the one feature IE reall does need. I think I'll be keeping firebird installed as at last its a browser with actually compeates with IE and doesn't just flop and fail to perform. Thanks for the linkage Hobbs! |

I seriously recomend visiting downloading some of the Extensions (http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions.html) for Firebird, there are some seriously cool ones there that are extreamly usefull for web developers.
